Dr. Hughes was born and raised right here in Medicine Hat, Alberta! He graduated from the University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, where he received a Bachelor of Medical Sciences Degree (BMedSci) and a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (DDS).

Dr. Hughes came to love pediatric dentistry from early on in his training. He pursued his specialty residency in Richmond, Virginia at Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital. Dr. Hughes is a Registered Specialist in Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (FRCDC).

Dr. Hughes is grateful to help create healthy smiles in his hometown with Medicine Hat Pediatric Dentistry. He enjoys singing frozen while doing dentistry and spending time with his beautiful wife and 3 energetic, crazy, fun children!
